Implementing a Program on Poly- / Multiculturalism for Future Teachers of Foreign Languages: Practice-Oriented Approach

The article considers the key aspects for implementation of a university program on poly- / multiculturalism future teachers foreign languages (FL), instructor specific purposes (LSP), lecturers and translation, aiming at practical value. two concepts ‘polycultural education’ ‘multicultural are differentiated; it is substantiated that more research required clarifications to be introduced among academics locally globally as mentioned relevant labels in terminology misused confused works laid out Ukrainian Russian. Next, course “Poly- languages” aims mastering pedagogical innovations field multicultural education, development students' ethno-cultural competence creativity, respectively. purpose optional specially designed form ideas about cultural pluralism an objective social reality nurture such support everyday communication inside outside classroom. It found single following objectives: 1) develop ethno-pedagogical competences students who training become FL instructors, LSP translation lecturers, philologists, translators, etc.; 2) students’ ability conduct professional activities environment, taking into account peculiarities socio-cultural situation development; 3) keep developing use basic laws modern environment. specified designs cornerstones by highlighting relevance global educational environment; aim objectives; contents; structure; methodology course. concluded findings contribute good practices designing curricula from practice-oriented perspective help bring quality change space.
